Membership at FYC
Finding the right sporting and social club for yourself and your family can be a hard decision, but you can't go pass a membership at Frankston Yacht Club.
The club offers Learn2Sail Programs and active racing throughout the season. Our new building will be shared with a restaurant and a cafe. These tenants will not be part of the Frankston Yacht Club but separate business within the building. We will occupy the lower floor of the building, with the cafe taking approximately half the space.
FYC is 100% volunteer ran. On becoming a member, everyone is expected to offer their services in some way. By volunteering, we are able to keep our fees low and spend money on replacing our equipment etc. Our next roster will be sent out with our invoices in August.
Racing season begins on the first weekend of October and concludes on the last weekend in April. Membership is invoiced annually each August.

Frankston Yacht Club Redevelopment Update and Clarification
The construction of the new building on the foreshore at Frankston has been completed. Just a few formalities to tie up the ends and in few weeks we should be moving in.
It is being built by Frankston City Council and designed to include a restaurant and a cafe as well as cater for the requirements of a yacht club. This new facility will be a distinct and an excellent addition to the Frankston Waterfront.
The restaurant and cafe are being put out to tender, and the management arrangements for the building will be finalized once all the tenants have been determined.
Frankston Yacht Club hopes to offer a range of different memberships in the future once the management structure is confirmed between the tenants and the Council. Until this new structure is in place FYC is unable to provide details.
We are currently operating out of containers and demountable near the new building and are looking forward to moving to the new building in 2016. If you are interested in taking up sailing and would like to know more, then please drop in and say hello.
